Ceruse and Norfolk Living

Enjoying his new lifestyle in Norfolk and the career move into the art world brings Ric to his next chapter. Ric tells us more….

Ceruse

At the beginning of summer 2021 I joined Ceruse working from my office in Norfolk. Teaming up with my lifelong friend Chris, we saw an opportunity to unite our creativity and sales skills to launch this new business. My time with Ceruse has already seen many new and exciting opportunities along with meeting interesting and inspiring people. I am looking forward to the future both in the art world and living in Norfolk.

Norfolk Life

County walk or stroll on the beach?

Living in North Norfolk for the last three years has suited my love for the exhilarating coastal weather and beautiful countryside vistas. I am drawn to the beaches, the grey and violet colours in pending storms that hang over the sea and of course on the opposite scale the famous big blue Norfolk summer skies.

Tea or coffee when out and about?

Coffee paired with visiting the wonderful independent coffee shops dotted around Norfolk, each with individual personalities and quirky décor.

Favourite architecture in Norfolk?

1930s architecture, but what has really grabbed my attention is local Norfolk flint used as building material, it’s glassy depth of colour and part chalky surfaces that change colour in the light as the day passes.

Time out on the Norfolk Broads.

There are plenty paths to explore and boats to hire. The peaceful and serene settings of the Norfolk Broads is a great place for me to spend time out. If you are visiting as a guest, we would most certainly end up navigating the network of waterways by boat.

Being able to work in one of the most beautiful parts of the country is certainly rewarding paired with the opportunities I have with Ceruse Fine Art. I certainly feel there is much to do and miles to explore.
