Unique Art Pieces Made for You
Let me introduce Chris Bridgeman, the sole artist of Ceruse and his ‘made-for-me’ approach…
A studio manager in an industry leading graphic design company, Chris has over 20 years experience, continually delivering bespoke projects in-line with complex design briefs and tight deadlines. Initially, Chris graduated with a BA Honours degree in Textiles and Surface Pattern Design. Branching out in an additional direction and fusing the skills of his two professions, Chris launched his new fine art venture called Ceruse. Ceruse designs in-house original digital art prints for Interior Designers, Property Developers and Collectors.
Unique Service from Ceruse
Working closely with his clients, Chris has the understanding that each project is unique and may require a personal approach. Altering the existing colours on an art piece, dimensions or choosing to print on an innovative material is something he can deliver because Ceruse design work is kept fully in-house and printed by reputable local printers.
Be Original - Select your Own Colours
Chris is able customise the colours on existing Ceruse artwork to match an interior style; this approach is a great way to place what is exactly needed to sit perfectly within a newly designed space. At times the art piece is required to stand out as the main focal point, infusing the interior with a bold aesthetic; other project briefs is that the work sits perfectly alongside existing antiques and personal collections complimenting the hues and forms beautifully. Digitally adapting hues and scale can be presented on screen to give an idea of the finished piece, a highly advantageous process due to being communicated online.
Printing onto Innovative Surfaces
With his chosen art production printing company, Chris can produce his work onto innovative surfaces, such as aluminium, glass and ceramic. As standard, Ceruse artwork is printed on high quality Hahnemühle paper by superlative output printers, the grade and finish of the paper is carefully selected in-house to suit the style of the art piece. For example as an alternative surface, Ceruse artwork can be printed directly onto an aluminium sheet, this has a great contemporary feel when fitted on stand-offs from a wall or placed as a room space divider.
Sitting Perfectly
The scale of art can be hugely impactful within an interior and can set the desired ambiance to a finished project. With careful consideration of the interior setting, Chris is able to deliver a bespoke size to compliment the room perfectly whether gallery walls showcasing a selection of smaller pieces or a large artwork for a one stop show.
Made-for-Me
Being able to introduce a unique and beautiful addition to an interior design project is Chris’s passion alongside being highly attuned to his clients individuality and style. He prides himself on his made-for-me approach as a service, and delivering art pieces that fits perfectly.
