Don’t be afraid to ask…

Bespoke artworks. Don’t be afraid to ask…

I guess would be the crux of our first blog. We meet very many interesting people on this artistic journey, and always have a weather eye to what is contemporary and a myriad of creative influences, both historic and contemporary. As well as the more abstract styles you’ll see on the site from time to time we get asked to illustrate a concept, or a special commission for a specific interior. At the moment I’m working on a book with a friend who is a very talented poet and she deserves some new exposure in a less than conventional way as her poetry merits presenting in something you’d like to keep as a special object, much as I hate to mention the well worn cliché of coffee table book, this is intrinsically it.

The illustration above shows the metaphorically well worn stoic face to the world, and the symbolic rebirth of the individual, or re-emergence of a precious golden talent that has remained dormant, imprisoned by self doubt and circumstance finally emerging in a new glow of optimism. I guess I thought about my friend here and all the beautiful words she’s written that will finally see the light of day, grow into something special and hopefully bear fruit.

This project will take a year I estimate based on the number of poems we want to include as I’m in no rush to compromise the artwork. In all honesty it’s a very interesting project, and I was glad she was receptive to the idea of illustration. To conclude, anything is possible as regards your brief, our costs for a one-off design are realistic, and only you - or your projects client will have it.

We sign pieces as is artistic etiquette, or to further enhance the proposition you may leave that aspect equally enigmatic.

Should you have any requests - just ask!
